Places where it is very hard to park in Le Havre
Some areas of the city are subject to strong car pressure, especially at peak times.
The Perret town centre and the Hôtel de Ville neighbourhood
Around place de l'Hôtel de Ville, the Volcan and the shops, spaces in the red zone (limited to 3h) are highly contested, especially on Saturdays. The Hôtel de Ville car park (400 spaces) and the Les Halles car park (350 spaces) are alternatives, but they can fill up.
The SNCF station area
With the influx of travellers, the René Coty and Gares car parks are in great demand during weekday peak hours.
The Saint-Nicolas neighbourhood and the Docks
This very lively area, with its restaurants, bars and shops, attracts a crowd of visitors, especially in the evenings and at weekends.
The outskirts of the Zénith during concerts
During major concerts, the 2,500 parking spaces at the Zénith are saturated very quickly. It is advisable to arrive at least 1h before the start of the show or to use public transport (special shuttles in place). Private car parks are also available for booking on Zenpark.
