Cheap parking spaces are scarce in central Lille and near the city's main landmarks. But there are solutions for cheap parking.
First, you can go for outlying car parks, less expensive. You can then take public transport to the city centre. Otherwise, you can opt for a long-term parking space. Some car parks offer monthly, hourly or annual subscriptions at competitive prices.
Yespark, for example, offers well-priced spaces across the city and across the Lille metro area. Renting a monthly or hourly space works out cheaper and makes it a great parking solution! We also offer short-term spaces at low prices.
Outside the city centre and the paid parking zones (orange, yellow and green), parking spaces are free. Otherwise, you can head to the Lille park-and-ride car parks. These are free for holders of a Pass Pass Ilévia. You'll find them at these locations:

A must-see, the Notre-Dame de la Treille Cathedral is a religious building whose construction was completed in the early 1900s. Of Gothic style, it's unique and almost strikes a contrast, its style resembling no other cathedral built across the country. Made of grey marble imported from Portugal, it reveals magnificent stained-glass windows that let in beams of light, making the sight quite intriguing. It's located at Place Gilleson.
On Place de la République stands the Palais des Beaux-Arts. Inside, several exhibitions feature artefacts from prehistory to the present day. Paintings by great masters are also on display. A little further on at 1 allée du Musée, in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, stands the Lille Métropole Musée d'art moderne, contemporary and outsider art. With 6,700 works on display, you won't have time to get bored!
Finally, what would Lille be without its typical dishes? Among them are welsh, carbonade flamande, potjevleesch and waterzooi. For dessert, opt for a merveilleux (Belgian cake) or the famous filled waffles. The most famous are sold by the Meert house since 1751, on rue Esquermoise.
