Crossed by the Seine, Rouen is the second largest city of the Paris Basin after the Capital. Capital of Normandy, the numerous industrial sites and the major maritime port of the city give it a remarkable economic boost. Thus, the beautiful Norman city extends its history marked by the Duchies of Normandy, the imprisonment of Joan of Arc or the bombings of 1944, from which it has proudly recovered.
The "city of a hundred steeples" also has many religious buildings, like its famous Notre-Dame Cathedral of Rouen or the Saint-Cande-le-Jeune Church, which see a large number of visitors come on top of the 111,000 inhabitants of the commune.
The "city of a hundred steeples" also has many religious buildings, like its famous Notre-Dame Cathedral of Rouen or the Saint-Cande-le-Jeune Church, which see a large number of visitors come on top of the 111,000 inhabitants of the commune.
And more population means more traffic and fewer parking spaces!
Because, while living in Rouen means having the chance to live in the old townhouses on place de la Pucelle or in the wooded Grande Mare neighbourhood, it also means wondering every day where to park your vehicle near your home or workplace. Furthermore, the city has multiplied parking rules and pay stations, which does not make things simpler for Rouen residents, whether they are residents, workers or students.
So, to help you find where to park your car, Yespark presents the parking solutions in Rouen.
Find a parking space in Rouen
Many paid car parks allow you to park on the surface or underground throughout the city of Rouen. In total, there are 17 sites and nearly 10,000 spaces available right into the heart of the city to park without a time limit.

- Gare P1 - 34 rue Verte – 381 spaces
- Gare P2 - 36-38 rue Verte – 397 spaces
- Cathédrale - Office du Tourisme - Place de la Haute Vieille Tour - 424 spaces
- Pucelle - Place de la Pucelle - 440 spaces
- Palais de Justice, Musée des Beaux-arts - Rue Jean Lecanuet – 1,400 spaces
- Vieux marché - Place du Vieux-Marché – 402 spaces
- CHU/Gambetta - 43 boulevard Gambetta – 987 spaces
- Saint-Marc - Place Saint-Marc – 1,000 spaces
- Mont-Riboudet/Kindarena - Rue Micheline Ostermeyer – 884 spaces
- Brico Dépôt - Avenue du Mont-Riboudet – 350 spaces

However, although they are numerous, the public car parks in Rouen must allow more than 111,000 Rouen residents to park near their homes or workplaces, which makes the ratio fairly tight. Moreover, the rather high rates of on-street parking or in car parks make the budget substantial enough to think seriously about when it comes to using these services daily!
Faced with this observation, renting a parking space is a solution now understood and adopted by many Rouen residents.

Places where it is impossible to park: choose parking rental in Rouen
Beyond the town centre, the surroundings of its famous Cathedral or the Le Secq des Tournelles Museum, the city of Rouen has a large number of neighbourhoods where parking is just as impossible.
Where to park in the Grand Mare neighbourhood in Rouen?
With quality public facilities and a verdant environment recently enhanced by the development of a 4.5 km hiking trail, the Grand Mare neighbourhood of Rouen is as peaceful as it is pleasant. But while the setting is appealing and green spaces abound, parking spaces are few. Indeed, parking in Grand Mare is a real headache! The most suitable solution for those who live or work in the Rouen neighbourhood therefore remains renting a parking space.
For example, near rues Jean-Philippe Rameau and François Couperin, an underground car park in a residence with a caretaker is located rue Giuseppe Verdi.
What solutions for parking near the town centre of Rouen?
For Rouen residents who need to park their car near their home or workplace located in the town centre, the difficulty is even greater than in the surrounding neighbourhoods. Free on-street spaces do not exist and the pay station rates are too high to consider parking there daily.
If you wish to rent a car park quickly and simply near the town centre of Rouen, go to the Yespark platform. You will find flexible cancellation conditions and subscriptions with no commitment, to access a private garage in a very simple and convenient way.
With over 100,000 parking spaces across Europe, you'll find yours!

Parking in Rouen: discover parking rental
Between the difficulty of parking in the centre of Rouen or in the surrounding neighbourhoods and the budget that this can generate, parking rental has two advantages:
- No longer having to look for a space to park
- Budgeting the cost of parking more clearly
This is what Yespark, the European leader in parking rental, brings you, by offering a monthly subscription for your parking space in Rouen at the best price. With no commitment, no deposit and very favourable conditions, all you have to do is choose the parking space that suits you best in one of the many car parks Yespark has.
And once you have chosen the car park suited to your needs, everything is done automatically from the Yespark website or app. You just have to click on "I try my car park for free" and follow the various steps to create your account.
Once done, you can directly access your space with, in addition, two free trial days to visit it on your own. If it suits you: great! You don't have to do anything, you just have to enjoy your car park with free 24/7 access. On the other hand, if it does not suit you, you can cancel your subscription directly from the app.
Most of our parking spaces are accessible via the Yespark app, but we also have car parks that open with a badge that you can pick up in a shop, or that we send to you. Once you subscribe to a monthly subscription, a parking space is allocated to you, which means the car park is immediately available.
If you have any questions about our service, do not hesitate to contact us at hello@yespark.fr and one of our advisors will answer your questions within 24 hours.
