Paid on-street parking includes:

Restricted parking is materialised by: 

• Black zone: this is a pedestrian zone, parking is forbidden except by exemption.
• Dotted black zone: stopping is allowed, but not parking.
• Purple zone: this indicates a car park reserved for residents. To park there, you must carry your card, under penalty of a fine.

Different means of payment at the pay station are at your disposal in the city of Toulon: cash and bank card.

The post-parking fee replaces the fine when payment for parking is not made or is only made in part. In Toulon, the FPS amount is £20. That said, the amount is increased in the event of late payment: you will then have to pay £70. However, the FPS is contestable via a mandatory prior administrative appeal (Rapo). If the Rapo does not succeed, the user can refer the matter to the Paid Parking Litigation Commission (CCSP).
