Good to know : All these car parks are open 24/7. They offer many services: spaces for people with reduced mobility (118 spaces in total), secure boxes (365), carpool spaces, drop-off zones, and bicycle spaces (576 spaces) in 12 car parks in the city centre and suburbs. To recharge your electric vehicle, the rate is uniform: €1.50 per connection + €0.45 / kWh.
Take advantage of 20 free minutes in orange and purple zones
In commercial zones (orange and purple), you get 20 free minutes, once per day per vehicle. This "20 free minutes" ticket is only available from the parking meters in these zones. Ideal for quick errands!
Rent a Yespark parking space
By renting a Yespark parking space, you get a dedicated space in a private car park. Our car parks are available across the city at a competitive price!
In the green zone, plan around your lunch break
The green zone is free from 12pm to 2pm. If you can fit your parking slot into this time slot, you'll save the hourly rate (€2/hr). Plus, the green zone rate is very attractive for long durations (€10.50 for 8hrs).
Compare with car parks for stays of several hours
For parking over 3hrs in the city centre (orange/purple zones), the rates quickly become prohibitive (€7 for 3hrs, then up to €35). Compare with the rate of a nearby public car park, often more affordable for half a day. For example, the Hoche – Centre car park or the Notre Dame – Musée car park offer competitive hourly rates (check on site or on their website).
To recharge your electric car, an affordable uniform rate
In all car parks equipped with charging stations, the charging rate is uniform and economical: €1.50 per connection + €0.45 / kWh. Take advantage of it to kill two birds with one stone: park and recharge.
For residents, the resident ticket is the solution
If you live in Grenoble, ask about the resident ticket (accessible permanently in the green zone, and also in the purple zone). It's the most economical solution to park near your home. Contact the City Hall for more information.
Several schemes offer free parking to users.
The 20 free minutes in orange and purple zones
As mentioned, you get 20 free minutes once per day in commercial zones (only at parking meters).
Free parking in the green zone at lunchtime and on weekends
In the green zone, parking is free :
Free parking in orange and purple zones on weekends
In these short-stay zones, parking is also free on Sundays and public holidays.
Parking for two-wheelers and bicycles
Many free spaces for motorbikes, scooters and bicycles are available on the street and in public car parks (with secure storage for bicycles by subscription).
The configuration of the city centre and the presence of many attraction hubs create strong pressure on parking.
The historic centre (Sainte-Claire, Notre-Dame)
Around the Sainte-Claire covered market, Notre-Dame cathedral and the pedestrianised shopping streets, demand is very high. The Sainte-Claire Les Halles and Notre Dame – Musée car parks are lifelines, but they can fill up.
The train station district (Gares-Europole)
With the influx of TER and TGV travellers, the Grenoble train station area is extremely busy. The Gares-Europole car park (84 electric charging stations!) is strategic, but on-street spaces nearby are very contested.
The cable car and Bastille area
To access the famous Grenoble cable car, the Montorge – Téléphérique car park is ideal, but it's very popular with tourists and visitors, especially on weekends.
The University and Stade des Alpes district
During the academic year and on match or concert days, the Stade des Alpes and campus area is under heavy pressure.
Faced with demand, especially near the train station, the city centre and business areas, finding a monthly space can be a challenge. Yespark makes life easier by connecting you directly to the private car parks available in Grenoble and its surroundings.
Whether you're looking for a solution near Place Sainte-Claire, your place of study or in a residential neighbourhood, Yespark gives you access to private car parks with no commitment.
Signing up is quick and commitment-free: in just a few minutes, your space is waiting for you. You also benefit from many advantages:
