Roubaix, a commune in the Nord department in the Hauts-de-France region, is a town with a rich industrial past, today recognised for its cultural dynamism, its shops and its unique architectural heritage. Served by the metro, tram and many buses, it attracts students, workers and visitors every day. To make parking easier, the town has several public car parks and a regulated street with rates tailored to different user profiles. Yespark breaks it down for you.
The town of Roubaix has several public car parks, managed by Ville Renouvelée Mobilité. Some are located in the town centre, others near major thoroughfares and shopping areas. Here is the list of the main car parks along with their addresses and features:

The town and its operator offer several options for parking at a lower cost, whether you're a resident, a student or a professional.
Monthly and annual subscriptions
For those who park regularly, the subscription is the most economical solution. Tailored packages exist for all profiles:
The exact rates are displayed at the entrance of each car park and on the Ville Renouvelée Mobilité website. To subscribe, you can do so online or contact the Maison du stationnement.
Hourly parking
For a one-off visit, hourly payment is possible in all car parks. The hourly rates vary by car park and can be viewed on site.
Advantages of car parks compared with on-street parking
Opting for a car park rather than the street has several perks that justify the value for money:
Tips to pay less
Several schemes let you park free of charge in Roubaix, whether on the street or in car parks.
30 free minutes on the street
Across the whole paid area, you get half an hour free per vehicle per day, in one go, being careful not to exceed these 30 minutes. Handy for quick errands!
Parking at weekends and public holidays
In the orange zone, parking is free on Saturdays and Sundays. In the red zone, it is only free on Sundays. It is also free on public holidays.
The town's layout, with its dense centre and many amenities, creates strong pressure on parking in several areas.
Around Grand'Place, the town hall and the shopping streets, spaces are highly sought after, particularly during the day and on Saturdays. The Grand'Place car park (50 spaces) and the Grande Rue car park (1,287 spaces) are therefore valuable alternatives.
The Roubaix station car park is strategic for train, metro and bus users. In high demand at peak times, it can quickly fill up. The adjacent streets also see heavy demand.
With the McArthurGlen shopping centre and its many visitors, the area is extremely busy, particularly at weekends. The Roubaix shopping (860 spaces) and Lannoy (400 spaces, reserved for subscribers) car parks are very popular.
This business hub (companies, schools, shops) attracts a significant flow of workers and students. The Blanchemaille car park (713 spaces) is a solution, but demand remains strong during the day.
Faced with demand, particularly near the station, the town centre and business areas, finding a monthly space can be a challenge. Yespark makes your life easier by connecting you directly to the private car parks available in Roubaix and its surroundings.
Whether you're looking for a solution near the station, your workplace or in a residential neighbourhood, Yespark gives you access to private car parks with no commitment.
Registration is quick and with no commitment: within a few minutes, your space is waiting for you. You also benefit from many perks:
Since 1 January 2018, the paid parking reform has come into force in Roubaix, with specific rules.
The Post-Parking Charge (FPS)
The police fine no longer exists: in the event of non-payment, you are liable for a post-parking charge (FPS). Its amount is set at €28, reduced to €15 if you pay within 15 days.
Why is parking paid?
The aim is to ensure good vehicle turnover to make life easier for shops and enhance the town centre's appeal, while avoiding abusive behaviour (abandoned vehicles).
Parking zones
Five parking zones meet the needs in the town centre, outskirts, as well as in the south and west districts. The red and orange zones are detailed on the Ville Renouvelée Mobilité interactive map.
30 free minutes
Across the whole paid area, you get half an hour free per vehicle per day, in one go.
