Il y a beaucoup d'espaces verts donc il est idéal pour se balader, il y a notamment le parc Soulage et le parc Romanet au Nord du parking, ainsi que le parc de Ougadougou juste au Sud du parking. De plus, il y a beaucoup de commerces disponibles dans les alentours, comme le magasin Auchan Supermarché Grenoble Perrot, l'Epicerie Biocop Malherbe ou encore la boucherie Malherbe. Dans les environs, il y a également la possibilité de faire du sport ; notamment dans le gymnase Malherbe ou dans le club de foot de Grenoble Foot 38. Le quartier est très agréable à vivre.
