Parc Des Champioux - Prebuard – Gare du Val d'Argenteuil

The parc des Champioux district is hard to reach, as it lies a few metres from the large Val d'Argenteuil station. The district is in a white zone. The park sits between the D41, which reaches the hospital, and rue du Troupeau, which goes back up to the station. Rue du Prébuard, which runs along its north side, is a one-way street between the two arteries mentioned above. At rush hour, the station exit causes a rise in traffic that becomes dense and hard to navigate.

Orgemont cemetery

In the north of town, the Orgemont cemetery district lies close to the A15 motorway, the N14 and the town of Enghien-les-Bains. Locally, there are a few amenities such as restaurants, but the district faces heavy, constant traffic due to its proximity to the motorway.

Lycée Polyvalent Jean Jaurès - Général Leclerc

The Jean Jaurès school is located in a lively district with many amenities and services, such as hairdressers (Lina Coiffure), banks (LCL, BNP), gyms (Basic Fit) and even restaurants and parks (parc des Champioux). The area is also crossed by major arteries, such as boulevard Général Delambre.

Chapelle Saint-Jean-Baptiste

The Chapelle Saint-Jean-Baptiste of Argenteuil is a charming religious building nestled at the heart of this commune in Val-d'Oise, at the corner of rue Notre-Dame and rue du 8-Mai-1945. It is a collective tomb from the "Seine-Oise-Marne" civilisation. Excavated upon its discovery in 1867 on Butte Vachon, the covered alley attests to the sedentarisation and socialisation of populations. Being the oldest existing trace of human settlement in Argenteuil, it has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1943.

Le musée sauvage 

The musée sauvage is in fact anything but a museum. It's a place of sharing and encounters located in the old museum and former hospital of the town of Argenteuil. Parking in the town of Argenteuil is regulated. It is split into two zones: the red zone and the green zone. 

• In the green zone, parking is limited to 11h from Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 7 pm. 
• In the red zone, parking is limited to 3h to allow vehicle turnover. It is paid from Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 7 pm. 

Note that on-street parking spaces are free on Sundays, public holidays and during the month of August. 

Parking is also alternating. 

• From the 1st to the 15th of each month, you must park on the odd-numbered side. 
• From the 16th to the end of the month, it's on the even-numbered side that you must leave your vehicle.
