Here are our tips to park smart without breaking the bank in Choisy-le-Roi.
Residents, go for the 55 € monthly subscription
If you are a resident and you use a covered car park daily, the monthly subscription is the most cost-effective option. Expect 55 € per month for unlimited 24/7 access. Excellent value for money for secure parking.
For a short visit, enjoy free parking
In the covered car parks (except Port), you benefit from 30 minutes of free parking. At the Port car park, it is 1 free hour. Ideal for quick errands or a lunch.
For a full day, the Port car park is unbeatable
If you need to leave your car all day, the Port car park offers rates of 30 € for Choisyens and 31 € for non-Choisyens. Compare with on-street parking where time is limited.
Use the EasyPark app to pay in real time
Since 1 January 2026, the EasyPark app has replaced Flowbird for on-street parking payment. It lets you pay in real time, extend remotely and stop your parking when you leave. Expect around 25 cents to 3 € of service fees per transaction.
On-street, the 30 pay-and-display machines remain free of extra charges
If you want to avoid app fees, the town has 30 pay-and-display machines (out of the 373 outside spaces and 687 underground) where payment is possible without surcharge.
Municipal car parks free on Thursday and Sunday mornings
The Parking du Marché is entirely free on Thursdays and Sundays from 8am to 2pm. An excellent opportunity to do your shopping or visit the town centre without paying anything.
Short-stay free parking in covered car parks
As mentioned, the first half hour is free in all municipal covered car parks. At the Port car park, it is the first hour that is free.
Unregulated zones
Outside the town centre and the busiest areas, it is possible to find streets with free parking (no time limit). According to online reviews, in neighbourhoods such as Parc Prairie or Les Hautes Bornes, spaces are usually available.
Some areas of the town come under heavy car pressure.
The town centre and the market area
Around the place de l'Église, the market and the town hall, demand is very high, especially on Saturday morning. Parking there is regulated and the covered car parks (Marché, Mairie, Jean Jaurès) are often full during peak times.
The RER station area
With the influx of travellers taking the RER C to Paris, the area around Choisy-le-Roi station is extremely busy during the week. Online reviews report insufficient parking.
Avenue Victor Hugo and rue Médéric
These important arteries, located on the right bank of the Seine, are described as areas where parking can be complicated.
Voie des Roses (under works until spring 2026)
Works are currently underway on Voie des Roses. Parking is strictly forbidden there, under penalty of a fine and vehicle removal. Absolutely avoid this area.
Faced with the demand, particularly near the station, the town centre and dense residential areas, finding a secure and available monthly space can be complex. Yespark makes life simpler by connecting you directly to private car parks owned by private individuals or professionals in Choisy-le-Roi.
