Parking rental in Vitry-sur-Seine: your space at a reduced price!

The town has several free public car parks, spread across the different districts, as well as larger-capacity car parks near the station.

Since parking is entirely free throughout the commune, cost isn't a concern. However, to optimise your parking and avoid unpleasant surprises, here are some tips.

Respect the durations in the blue zone

Free parking is conditional on a maximum duration in the blue zones (from 2h to 4h depending on the street). If you need to park longer, go for streets outside the blue zone or the free long-stay car parks (rue Léon Geoffry, rue du Génie).

Use the free long-stay car parks

For a full day, the car parks on rue Léon Geoffry and rue du Génie offer 10h parking with pay-and-display. Remember to take a ticket to activate the session.

For extended parking, opt for a Yespark car park

If you need a private, dedicated space for several days or by the month, Yespark car parks are an excellent option.

Consider the park and ride (P+R) for your trips to Paris

If you're taking the RER, park and rides (P+R) are available near the stations. Some offer a preferential rate for Navigo subscribers (information to verify on site).

Everywhere! Parking is free across the whole territory. But depending on the duration, you must follow a few rules.

• Blue zones (drop-off) : free, limited to 20 minutes (7 am to 7 pm), outside certain crèches and early-childhood facilities.
• Blue zones (medium stay) : free, limited to 2 hours (8 am to 7 pm), on streets listed by the town.
• Blue zones (long stay) : free, limited to 4 hours (8 am to 7 pm), car parks on avenue du 8 Mai 1945, rue Louise Aglaé Cretté and rue de Choisy.
• Free car parks with pay-and-display : 10 hours of parking (7 am to 7 pm), car parks on rue Léon Geoffry and rue du Génie.
• Outside the blue zone : free parking with no time limit (within the regulatory 7-day limit).

For people with reduced mobility: the town provides spaces reserved for holders of a carte mobilité inclusion (CMI-S), notably in the car park on rue de Choisy.

Some areas of the town are under heavy car pressure, in particular the blue zones, which were created precisely to regulate parking in the busiest districts.

The Les Ardoines station district

With the influx of passengers taking the RER C, the Les Ardoines station area is extremely busy during the week. The new temporary car park (335 spaces) provides increased capacity, but can fill up at peak times.

The town centre and market area

Around the market of the town centre and the Parking Audigeois, demand is very strong, especially on Saturday mornings. The market car park (151 spaces) is often full at peak hours.

Blue-zone streets

Streets subject to blue-zone rules (Abbé-Roger-Derry, Général-Leclerc, Henri-Barbusse, etc.) are in high demand from drivers. The limited duration (2h) ensures turnover, but spaces remain contested.

The rue de Choisy car park

With only 38 spaces, this 24/7 free car park is highly coveted by residents and visitors. The 4h limit aims to prevent "abandoned vehicle" parking.

Registration is quick and with no commitment : within a few minutes, your space is waiting for you. You also benefit from many perks:

• 2-day free trial (for long-stay rentals)
• No commitment, no deposit
• Instant access via the app, no badge or code
• Transparent rates, no hidden fees
• Cancellation and termination at no cost
• Customer support available 7 days a week

The town has chosen free parking across its entire territory. However, blue zones have been introduced to encourage vehicle turnover in the busiest areas.

Blue zones

They affect many streets and car parks. The rules are as follows:

Parking disc mandatory

In the blue zone, drivers must display a European parking disc (model compliant since 1 January 2012), showing the vehicle's arrival time.
